I have been looking at some videos on YouTube to give my partner and I some inspiration when creating our music video.
I found that IGLU & HARTLEY 's video for their song 'In This City' to be a video that stood out from the rest and had a new and modern twist to it. The video is mostly filmed through a handheld camera and has shots of the band setting up their instruments and hanging out with each other. I will use a similar style in my video as I feel that helps the audience connote to the band and feel as though they in the video with the band.

Although in a different way to how I will use it, I like the use of natural locations in EVANESCENCE's Broken music video. I like the way the artist's are put in a location that would not usually be connoted with them, as I think it makes the audience think and stands out of different. I will keep this video in mind when filming my music video as I will be filming the band playing their music in a forest. Similarly to Evanescence's video I will use long, establishing shot to show the strange or different location that the band are in.
EVANESCENCE - BROKEN (I was unable to embed this video to my blog, so instead, this is a link to the music video on YouTube).

I think this album magazine advert is similar to the ideas my partner and I have for our advert. The main colour of the advert is similar to the autumnal colours we want to use and I think that all the aspects of this advert work well together. I will take inspiration from how the advert looks for my album magazine advert, specifically how this adverts action line and main image/focal point looks as I think they are in appropriate places for an album advert.

Another artists magazine advert that my partner and I will take inspiration from for our advert is The Verse's advert. As my partner and I are going for a similar, relaxed and natural, style with our advert, our advert will be similar to this one.
