Audience feedback PowerPoint:
This week I created an AUDIENCE RESEARCH FEEDBACK POWERPOINT for the feedback I received from the SURVEY I created last week.
I found it quite hard to find people willing to take my survey, so it took me a few days to gain enough feedback to create my feedback PowerPoint. Once I had, however, I found analysing the result not to difficult as a lot of the feedback from different people was quite similar.
Adding to this blog post, I wrote an overall analysis of my survey results. Generalising my results, I wrote a small paragraph for some of the most important aspect of the video, trying to give an overall impress of what I found the audience wanted to see a music video.
E.g. Location: Audiences would like to see a country music style song include urban locations in its video, as this would make the video more unique.
Costume: Costumes should be contemporary, similar to the outfits Mumford and sons wear. As this would give the video a more contemporary feel.
Song decisions:
This week was the week we're me and my partner, Anna, had to sit down and decide which song we would use to create the video. We decided in the end to use the video Anna had picked because there was a bigger variety of pace change in her song, which would help give us more variety in shot types and enable us to have long and short shots. I am happy to be creating a music video with Anna's song and not my own as I think her song allows us to do a lot more different camera movements.
Next Week:
In the following week I will take time to listen to our song choose two or three times each day in order to learn the lyrics of the song and familiarise myself with it rhythm.
